Choir Rehearsal - Tuesday
Evenings
Please JOIN us for a
Choir Rehearsal full of fun, fellowship,
prayer and occasionally some singing! You will be blessed, we promise! We meet
from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday
evenings, at San Juan Atria.

southbound 5 freeway exit at Camino Capistrano,
turn right at the off ramp and right again onto
San Juan Creek Road. From the northbound 5
freeway exit at San Juan Creek Road, turn left
at the off ramp and right onto San Juan Creek
Road for 1/2 mile, the Atria San Juan will be
on your left.
Wednesday
Evening Bible Study - 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

freeway at Ortega Hwy, proceed east on Ortega

doors facing Rancho Viejo Drive.
Thursday Morning Men's Prayer
and Bible
Study
We would love to have you join
us for prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and breakfast on Thursday
mornings. We meet at Carrow's Restaurant every Thursday morning
from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. This is a
great way to start the day! See you there.
Grief Share Ministry
A Grief Recovery
Support Group for those who have lost love
ones. The group is facilitated by Maurice and Marlys
Goodban. For information call the Goodbans

Quilting Ministry
Tina Borden and Bev Albright lead a Quilting Ministry every
1st & 3rd Thursday evening in the activities
room at Atria San Juan, (formerly Chateau San Juan), 32353 San Juan Creek
Road, San Juan Capistrano. You do not have to have any prior
experience to participate, just a heart for God
and a willing spirit. If you have been looking
for a small group, this may be the one you have
been waiting for. Please see Tina or Bev for

from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., the
Young Adult & College Age Group meets at the church, in the
conference room of the Spiritual Growth
Center, for a Bible study.
Every Friday
from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Youth Group
meets at the church for a time of fellowship.

Martial Arts Ministry
The Martial
Arts Ministry meets each week on Friday evenings
at the Saddleback YMCA. Classes start at 6:30 p.m.
and finish
at 8:30 p.m. Call the church office for

What is
Jujitsu? It is a sensible, down to earth,
type of self defense that is fun and east to
learn for everyone. It is one of the only
arts that truly can be considered as a defensive
art, not a fighting art. Jujitsu uses
principles of leverage and off-balancing to
overcome and control an assailant. You
will learn effective techniques for escaping and
releasing numerous holds using only the natural
movement of your body. Literally
translated, Jujitsu means "the way of
gentleness".
We will
also use many of the techniques used in Yoga for
lightly stretching and limbering. The
mediation techniques will help better your
concentration and focus. This has a
calming effect when in stressful situations.
Our goal
in this martial art is not to fight but to avoid
a fight through tolerance, understanding, and
compassion the mind, and having God on your
side, giving the spirit needed to overcome all
odds.
We will
start and finish each class with discussion and
prayer. We will look to find ways to bring
others into the service of the Lord by inviting
them to join us in the Martial Arts Ministry.
Our
instructor, Len Riley is an Elder at Capistrano
Community Church and an 8th Degree Black Belt.
Len has graciously offered his experience and
skills to CCC. If you have any questions,
please contact Len or call the church office for
further information.
Flowers For Our Church
At Capistrano Community Church
we are surrounded by flowers!!! We are
blessed to be able to look out the windows and
see all the beautiful flowers and now we will
also have that beauty inside. Every Sunday, we will have a lovely
bouquet of flowers on the Alter table, given
in honor, dedication, or remembrance of
someone special in your life, family, or
friends. We will have a flower chart
near the coffee table where you can sign up to
provide the flowers for a specific Sunday. The donation for the
flowers is $40. Following the service,
the donor may feel free to take the bouquet
home
Thank You...
...for your prayers and support
of your church. We are being so richly blessed
by God. Our church is strong in so many areas
as we continue to grow. Look around and see the
youth programs that are in place, the Bible
studies, the small group ministries, the
outreach, the love and concern for one another
that is so evident! Thank you for your desire
to make a difference.
